Dear Patrons,

Some of you may have heard that our beloved owner and friend Steve ‘Cocky’ Cockshall was involved in a horrific accident just last week in Regents Park. Whilst taking part in his regular high-speed training with his cycling team, a car pulled out into Steve’s path and he has been left with numerous plates and wires in both of his hands, many teeth knocked and he is unable to compete in the national championships this year.
After several traumatic days in hospital, Steve is miraculously now home and although frail he would love to see some friendly faces at the Club on
Friday where we are hosting on the world’s finest male Jazz Singers, Ian Shaw alongside our fabulous new Musical Director and pianist, Jamie Safir. “Best Jazz Vocalist” at the BBC Jazz Awards in 2007 and 2004, and nominated in the Best UK Vocalist category at the Jazz FM awards in 2013, Ian Shaw has already amassed a number of highly acclaimed internationally released albums and is a popular performer both in the UK and the US. He regularly sells out several shows at Ronnie Scotts and will be in our lovely club under the pub this very Friday –  tickets to see Ian’s mesmerising talents at Ronnie Scotts are usually £40+ but you can see him in the heart of Hampstead for only £20 ! Online booking recommended as you know we have quite a limited capacity. Steve is so looking forward to this evening, he would love you to join him to celebrate life with great music and great friends. Hope to see you there, and if you can’t make it this Friday, remember we host the country’s finest jazz acts 4 nights a week (Wednesday-Sunday),

Warmest wishes,

The Hampstead Lounge & Jazz Club Team
